Late Koppolu Suryanarayana garu born on 10.01.1913, the day of saint Thyagaraja’s vardhanti . He has his basic training in Carnatic music , under his brother –in –law, Lakshminarayana. Having heard to Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar, decided to approach him. Chembai after conducting due diligence , accepted him as a gurukula student, learned music under Chembai for around 7 years , started his career as a free lancer, later he moved to Chennai and served in the All India Radio. Chennai. During 1950’s moved to his native place for personal reasons.
